Juan Sanchez Arroyo was born on March 3, 1958, in Mexico. He transitioned on May 4, 2019, in Dallas, Texas, at age 61. Juan graduated high school and went on to attend college where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.

He went on to enjoy a career in the oil industry for many years. Affectionately regarded as “Abuelito” by his grandchildren, Juan enjoyed writing and growing green plants. He will be remembered for his intelligence, determination, and being a provider and thinker by all who knew and loved him.

He was predeceased by his parents, Epigmenio Sanchez and Rita Arroyo. Those left to cherish fond memories include the mother of his children, Luty Villafuerte; his son, Juan Alberto Sanchez; daughter, Laura Sanchez and her husband, Ismael Gomez; grandchildren: Nick Gomez, Jacob Gomez, Jasmin Gomez, Lizeth Gomez, Sebastian Sanchez, and Santiago Sanchez; siblings: Servando Sanchez, Celina Sanchez, Obdulia Sanchez, Selfa Sanchez, and Maria de Jesus Sanchez; and a host of relatives and friends.
