Juanita Dickenson Profitt, 93, of Cowan passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Juanita was the daughter of the late George Crumley and Margaret Phipps Dickenson. Surviving is 1 daughter: Sheila Lorraine (Roger Lee) Brown of Clintwood, Virginia; 1 stepdaughter; Helen (Charles) Miller of Whitesburg; 2 grandchildren: Benjamin Earl Miller and Deanna Leigh Brown; 1 great grandchild: Calvin Ross Miller; ex son-in-law: Jim Brown.

Juanita was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Carol Brown; 2 brothers: William Dickenson and George Crumley; 2 sisters; June Bostic and Doris Day. Funeral: 1:00 O’clock P.M. Thursday, January 3, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Banks and Dock Frazier officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Whitesburg, Kentucky.
