Juanita Jean Rice was born August 24th 1934 in Plainview, TX. She came to Colorado at the age of 17. She met and married Jack Rice a year later.

They were married in 1952 until Jack’s passing 54 years later in 2006. Jack and Juanita built their life and raised their family in Englewood, CO. Juanita is survived by two siblings, three children (Terry, Eugene, and Cindy), two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

She loved to read and always had her daubers ready for bingo. One of her legacies was making quilts for her family. Every quilt was a labor of love and cherished by all who received them.

Juanita passed peacefully on September 27, 2018 and will be missed. Another star will twinkle brighter. A graveside service for Juanita will be held, Wednesday, October 3rd, 11AM at Littleton Cemetery.
