A Memorial Visitation for Juanita McGee Downs, 91, of Somerville, will be Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mrs. Downs died on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born September 3, 1927, in Morgan County to Henry Percy McGee and Annie Farley Lyle McGee .

She was a newspaper Carrier for the Decatur Daily and the Birmingham News, prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband: O.D. Downs and her parents. Survivors include: One Son: Lynn Downs Two Daughters: Susan Downs and Rhona Downs Fowler (Harold) Seven Grandchildren Nine Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren Peck Funeral Home 1600 Hwy 31 SW P.O.
