Obituary for Juanita Young Williams Print KANNAPOLIS- Juanita Young Williams, 86, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Barrett officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Carolina Memorial Park. Juanita was born in Cabarrus County on March 26, 1932.
She loved her family and simple things like reading her bible, watching Little House on the Prairie and the Waltons, getting her hair fixed on Fridays, followed by lunch at Troutmans, and watching the Gaither’s on TV. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Hurchel V. Williams; parents, Jerry K. and Mattie Parrish Young; brother, John Young; and sisters, Laura Rowland and Loretta Tucker. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Crystal Phillips and husband, Mitch; son, Dale Mason and wife, Laura; brothers, Jerry K. Young, Jr. and wife, Evelyn and Lester Young; granddaughter, Amanda; great-grandsons, Kaleb, Logan, and Jade; nieces and nephews.
