Obituary for Judith Ann “Judy” Perham BERLIN – Judith Ann Perham, 70, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Albany Medical Center with her family at her side. Born in Berlin on February 1, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Clarence A. and Constance T. Holmes Perham. Judy was raised and educated in Berlin and was a lifelong resident.
She was employed by W.J. Cowee, Inc. and Seagroatt Floral Greenhouses both in Berlin for many years before retiring 8 years ago. Judy enjoyed tag sales and native American pictures, camping-especially sitting around the campfire, county fairs, vacations at Hampton Beach, Halloween and Christmas (always picking out her own tree), car rides and eating out at Pizza Hut or enjoying fish frys and twice baked potatoes, sleigh riding with her kids when they were younger and being a “kid” herself, and always wanting to see the deer that were shot by her son and grandson. Judy truly loved her family and her kids and grandchildren came before everything else.
She was the companion and love of the late Rodney A. Alderman and Elton Stevens; beloved mother of Theresa A. (Kevin) Stevens of Berlin, Eric P. (Jeaneattte) Alderman of Berlin, Tammy L. Perham of Stephentown, David E. (Darlene) Alderman of Petersburgh, Scott M. (Aida) Alderman of Las Vegas, NV and the late Allen W. Alderman; adored grandmother of Colleen and Amber Bullard, Dylan Alderman, Dalton Stevens, Maysen Alderman, Randy, Christina, Corey (Rachel), Shauna, Sheena and Sharena Alderman and Sheila Stout; great grandmother of Noah Gardy, Aliannah Tomlinson, Scotty Alderman-Navarrete, Penelope Stout and the late Adalynn Tomlinson; dear sister of Marlene (Robert) Masse of Nassau and Edward C. (Ramona) Perham of Washington State. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home, 66 Armsby Road, Petersburgh on Saturday from 12:30-2:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm with Pastor Matthew Olsen officiating.
