Obituary for Judith “Judy” Faherty Judith “Judy” Faherty, age 82, passed away on November 9, 2018 in Naples, Florida with her family by her side. Born on October 16, 1936 in New York, she is predeceased by her parents Rita and Everett Wiehe, and her son Scott Stedman. Judy is an angel and a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She dedicated her life to bringing joy to others. Judy created a home filled with love, joy and laughter. Singing around Judy’s piano, playing games, laughing, conversing and enjoying a wonderful meal will provide her family and friends with special uplifting memories to cherish throughout their lives.

Judy’s open arms, sweet embrace, warm smile, encouraging words, and kind deeds comforted and inspired all who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life. Judy had a gift that made people a better version of themselves. The world is a better place because of her.

She will forever be missed. Judy is survived by her husband Bob, her sister Gerri and brother Everett, her daughter and her husband Karen and John, and their two sons, Casey and Corey, her step-son Rob, her step-daughter and her husband Ellen and George, and their two sons, George Jr and Kevin, her step-son Peter, and her step-son and his wife Paul and Beth, and their four children Grace, Cal, Maeve and Griffin. In honor of Judy’s request, her service will be private.

The family wishes to thank all of you for your support, prayers and kindness. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the Christian Science Society of Bonita Springs, 11551 E. Terry Street, Bonita Springs, Florida 34135. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home – Family Owned Since 1978.
