Obituary for Judith V. “Judy” Maschmeier (Kluender) Judith V. “Judy” Maschmeier, 74 of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 with cremation to follow. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the chapel.

Donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Judy was born December 13, 1944 in Pasadena, CA to Floyd and Jewell (Russell) Kluender. The family later moved to Overland Park, KS.

She married Darell “Buddy” Maschmeier on June 5, 1965, he survives her of the home. Other survivors include; a son, Todd Maschmeier and wife Kendra and grandchildren, Teagan, Tinley, Garren and Kylan all of Grain Valley, MO and a sister in law, Darleen Barnes of Blue Springs, MO.
