Juliana M. Picola, 74, of Wiconisco, passed away Saturday, July 14th at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born in Williamstown, February 4, 1944, a daughter of the late George and Agnes Yanoscak Usuka. Juliana was a graduate of the former Williamstown Catholic High School, Millersville and Shippensburg Universities.

She was of the Catholic Faith. Her teaching career began with the Millersburg School District teaching kindergarten and first grade at the Lenkerville Elementary School. In 1990 she started at Williams Valley School District as the Elementary Principal and became the Superintendent of the district in 1996.

She retired in 2004. Some of her greatest pleasures were vacationing in Ocean City, New Jersey and relaxing by the pool with her brown lab, Becky. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 54 years, Michael J. Picola.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Due to her love of the Williams Valley High School Musicals, donations in her memory should be made to the Williams Valley Drama Club, c/o Williams Valley High School, Attn: Jode Smith, 10330 State Rte. 209, Tower City, PA 17980.
