Obituary for Justin D. “J.D.” Greene Justin D. “J.D.” Greene, age 34, passed away Tuesday morning, October 9, 2018 surrounded by his family following a long illness. He was born April 3, 1984 in Muskegon to Wayne and Laurel (Gillings) Greene. J.D. was a graduate of Fruitport High School in 2002.

He worked as the Lube Manager for Greene’s Super Lube for 4 years, Ted’s Masonry for 4 years, and was a talented jack of all trades. J.D. was a natural athlete. He enjoyed fishing, playing hockey and golfing.

But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family. SURVIVORS include his parents, Wayne and Laurel Greene; brother, Nicholas (Brenna) Greene of Tennessee; sister, Kelly (Dave) Shafer of Grand Haven; beloved Uncle Bubba to his nieces and nephew: Mackenzie, Chayle, Bryson, Sophie, Izzy, Lillie, and Rhyse; grandmother, Shirley Gillings of Muskegon; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his faithful companion, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Glen and Margaret Greene and Daniel Gillings.
