Obituary for Monica A. (Frantz) Galla Monica A. (Frantz) Galla, age 57, passed away very unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was born in White Cloud, MI on November 25, 1960 to Stephen and Kathryn (Schmucker) Frantz and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. On October 23, 1982, she married Patrick J. Galla in Comstock Park, MI.
Monica was currently the Pharmacist Manager for the Meijer Pharmacy in Norton Shores where she has worked for 32 years. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Monica enjoyed traveling especially to her favorite place Walt Disney World.
SURVIVORS include her husband, Patrick Galla; 3 sons, Mychal (Samantha) Galla, Jeffrey Galla, David Galla; 3 brothers, Douglas (Christine) Frantz, Kevin (Patricia) Frantz, Scott Frantz; 5 sisters, Theresa (Robert) Bunek, Christina (Robert) Newman, Valerie Phelps, Veronica (Kevin) Schumaker, Brigette Frantz; many nieces and nephews; and her favorite dogs, Max & Mya. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Lynette Mick. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, October 8, 2018 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with her nephew, the Rev.
Fr. Daniel Schumaker presiding. VISITATION will be held 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM Sunday at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100 with the Rosary prayed at 7:30 PM Sunday evening.
