Vernon J. Lego, age 82 of Spring Lake, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at his home. He was born March 17, 1936, in Detroit, MI to Kenneth and Barbara (Oasho) Lego. He married Rosalee Ferguson on September 16, 1983, in Detroit.

She preceded him in death on August 18, 2014. Vern enjoyed watching football and baseball games. He is survived by his son, John (Angel) Lego of Spring Lake; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda (Charles) Nunnery of Taylor, MI.

Also surviving are Elma King and her daughters, Georgia and Joanne. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. A private family graveside service will take place at Spring Lake Township Cemetery with Pastor Doug Bytwerk officiating.
