Obituary for Karon Jeanette Matasovsky Mrs. Karon Matasovsky, 77, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Rodney Matasovsky; children: Scott (Bethany) Matasovsky of Saint John, IN, Dale Matasovsky of Indianapolis, IN, Mark (Jennifer) Matasovsky of Fishers, IN, Janet (Chris) Sowers of Greenwood, IN; grandchildren: Noelle & Camille Matasovsky, Chloe Matasovsky, Collin, Joshua & Aubrey Matasovsky and Joseph, Owen & Gabriel Sowers. Karon was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Hattie Bowman, and her brother, Edward Bowman.

A viewing will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 7227 Hohman Avenue, Hammond, Indiana. The funeral will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Burial will take place afterward at Memory Lane Memorial Park cemetery, 6305 W. Lincoln Highway (US 30), Crown Point, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, donations are recommended to cancer research or to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Memory Lane Funeral Home, 6305 W. Lincoln Highway (US 30), Crown Point, Indiana is handling the arrangements. Please call the office for further information (219) 322-2050.
