Peacefully on May 5, 2018, Katherine “Kitty” Akers, beloved wife of the late Philip J. Akers, Jr.; loving mother of Scott A. Akers, Doug M. Akers, and Sharon A. Slivecky (James), cherished grandmother of Mallorie, Kristen, Alexis Akers, Heather Slivecky; sister of James Smith, Dorothy Marino, and Barbara Ransom. Relatives and friends may visit at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc. 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd. Arbutus on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00am at the Bethany Lutheran Church. Interment following at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
