Katherine Lightner-Williams, 46, of Summerville, SC passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Funeral Services will be Monday afternoon, December 31, 2018 in Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 2 o’clock. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 o’clock until the time of service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted. Katherine was born July 2, 1972 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late Jack H. Lightner and Florence E. Dillingham Lightner.

She worked as a Nurse and enjoyed fishing, camping, cross stitching, reading, journaling, drawing, and spending time with her family. She was also an avid Alabama football fan. Katherine was a devoted and loving mother and sister.

Katherine leaves behind her son, Joshua Williams of Summerville; daughter, Hannah Williams, also of Summerville; brothers, John Lightner and Eric Lightner, both of Summerville; and sisters, Jackie Terrell (Robert) of Ridgeville, Lisa Sharp (Danny) of Belton, and Anna Sharp (Jody) of Summerville; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Florence Lightner. Arrangements by PARKS FUNERAL HOME, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483.
