OBITUARY Kathleen Rihn Spalding August 26, 1958 – December 2, 2018 Kathleen Rihn Spalding, born August 26, 1958, died peacefully on December 2, 2018. Generous in spirit to all and family dedication were her most notable qualities. AA gave her an enriched life and purpose.

Maddie, her dog, offered comfort. For years she owned and operated My Girl Friday. As a member of the Metropolitan Women’s Club in Lexington, her event planning was notable.

She will be missed with her special touches at family celebrations. She is preceded in death by parents Bill and Mearle Rihn, to whom she was dedicated. She is survived by her siblings: Shirley Blakley (Larry), Mary Klausing (Stan), Bill Rihn (Diane), Michael Rihn, Deborah Chambers (Kirk), as well as numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be 10 AM Friday, December 7, 2018 followed by Mass at 11 AM at Immaculate Conception 502 S 5th St. LaGrange, KY 40031. In lieu of flowers donate to Hosparus Health, 315 East Broadway, Louisville, KY 40202.
