Kathleen V. Hill March 13, 1930 – January 22, 2019 Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Kathleen V. Hill, age 88, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Aspirus Iron River Hospital. She was born on March 13, 1930 in Catoosa, OK,the daughter of the late Alvie and Allie (Underwood) Newton. Kathleen married Stanley Twardowski on August 15, 1946 in Armstrong Creek, WI and moved to Iron River to make their home.

Stanley preceded her in death in 1996. She married Oswald “Ozzie” Hill on August 24, 2000 in Crystal Falls, MI, and the couple made their home in Iron River Township. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Iron River.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Kathleen is survived by her husband, Ozzie; sons, Cary (Linda) Twardowski of Flushing, MI, Ronald (Carol) Twardowski of Iron River, and Stanley (Debi) Twardowski Iron River, MI; daughters, Kathleen (Dean) Hillock of Negaunee, MI, and Tammy (Joe) Alasantoni of Fletcher, NC; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents and first husband, she was also preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11am at the First Baptist Church of Iron River with Pastor John Fish to officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery in the spring.
