Kathryn Waecker Of Arlington Heights Kathryn Waecker was born on October 9, 1953, in Chicago to Harold and Joanne (nee Krenzke) Lueder. She died Wednesday, January 16, 2019, in Arlington Heights. Mrs. Waecker worked as a Speech Language Pathologist for CCSD 62 in Des Plaines at North Elementary School.

Kathy loved to spend time with her family and friends. Kathryn is survived by her spouse, of 41 years, Garrett; daughters, Emily Waecker, and Gail Waecker; mother, Joanne G. Lueder; siblings, Ann (Thomas) Carlson and Hal (Shirley) Lueder; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold H. Lueder.

Visitation Sunday, January 20, 2019, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral Service 11:00 am, Monday, January 21, 2019 at First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights, 1903 East Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment is private.
