Kathryn’s Obituary Kathryn L. Werkheiser, 88, of Hellertown, died Monday, February 4, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Muhlenberg Hospital, Bethlehem. She is the wife of the late Robert U. Werkheiser, Jr. (who died May 21, 1985). She was born in Fountain Hill on December 19, 1930 to the late Oscar E. and Mildred A. (Edelman) Shook.

Kathy worked for 8 years as a cashier at St. Luke’s Gift Shop, Fountain Hill until retiring in 1993, she was also a seamstress for 12 years at the former Dora Lee Dress Factory in Hellertown. She is a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Twp. Kathy loved greeting her many friends on her front porch of her home.

SURVIVORS Son: Randy A. “Skeeter” (Sandi) of Hellertown; daughter-in-law: Julia A. Werkheiser of Bethlehem; brothers: William O. in DE, Kenneth W. of Allentown, Richard A. of Hellertown; grandchildren: Joshua, Lorrie, Ryan, Charles; great grandchildren: Adalynn, Lillian. Predeceased by a son: Jeffrey R. Werkheiser (died March 16, 2015); siblings: Shirley M. Cawley, Gerald Shook, Lorraine Magyrics. SERVICE Graveside services at 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2019 at Lower Saucon Cemetery, Lower Saucon Twp.
