Kay Frances Bost Brown, 69, of Westside Drive Ext. Lexington NC, passed away Saturday, November 24, at Lexington Health Care Center. She was born March 30, 1949 in Cabarrus County to the late Andrew Caldwell and the late Margaret Bost Caldwell.

Kay was a graduate of the Cabarrus Schools and attended Barber Scotia College. She was formerly employed with Robins Nest Learning Center. Kay was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Lexington Services will be held Friday, November 30, at Reeves Chapel AME Zion Church.

Visitation will be 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM with funeral services at 12:00. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Those left to cherish fond memories include three sons, Emanuel D. Brown, Jr., Emoda Brown and Allen Brown (Catina) all of Lexington; one daughter, Robin Collins (Jamie) of Lexington; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Jordan (Nathaniel) of Kannapolis, Beatrice Barber (Thomas) of Concord and Betty Louise Bost of Lexington; former husband, Rev.

Emanuel D. Brown of Lexington, special cousins, Tom and Ann Dry, beloved pet, Dallas and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
