Kelly Susanne Modlin, age 30, of Greensboro, NC passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at her home. Kelly was born in Sanford, North Carolina on June 28, 1988 to Susan and David Modlin. She loved reading, art/art projects, spending time with friends, and traveling.

She is survived by her mother, Susan Wallace Modlin; half-brother, Jamison Lee Modlin and wife, Ruth Modlin and family; uncle Tommy Modlin and wife, Brenda Modlin and family; and aunt Dorothy Wallace Simpson and… Read More » family. She was preceded in death by her father, David Charles Modlin, and her grandparents. A visitation will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2018 with family and friends at Miller-Boles Funeral Home in Sanford.

A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Andi Woodhouse officiating. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery in Sanford.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be sent to the Sanford Brush and Palette Club’s Art Angels program that helps to inspire and support Lee County youth. Donations in memory of Kelly Modlin may be mailed to PO Box 4886, Sanford, NC 27330.
