Our loving father, Kenneth E. Ferguson, age 79 of Craigsville, West Virginia (formerly of Millersburg) went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2019, peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 4, 1939 in Scio, OH to the late Howard and Margerete Stevens Ferguson. Kenneth drove semi-truck, driving for 48+ years before retiring in 2012.

He loved spending time with his family, watching old westerns, and caring for his dog. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine E. Summers Ferguson in September 2012. They were married on June 8, 1957.

Surviving are children Katherine (Dale) Hinkle of Craigsville, WV, Janet Lineberry of New Philadelphia, OH, Kenneth (Lorie) Ferguson of Millersburg, OH, Faye (Aaron) Strouse of Millersburg, OH; grandchildren, Shawn (Laura) Hinkle of Craigsville, WV, Philip Hinkle of Craigsville, WV, Joshua (Sheri) Ferguson of Blacklick, OH, Nathan Ferguson of New Albany, OH, Quin (Stephanie) Strouse of Columbus, OH, Nicole Strouse and Natalie Strouse of Millersburg, OH; 6 great-grandchildren, Madison Hinkle, Curtis Hinkle, JR Hinkle, Parker Hinkle, Alijah Ferguson, Isaiah Ferguson; a brother Harold (Marie) Ferguson of Stillwater, OH and his precious dog, Angel. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by an infant sister, two brothers, John L. Ferguson and Delmar Leroy Ferguson, and a son-in-law Ronald ‘Buck’ Lineberry. Graveside services will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg, OH with Kenneth’s grandson, Quin Strouse officiating.
