Kenneth R. McGinnis, 64, of Taylor Ridge, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at his home. Services for Mr. McGinnis will be private. Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, Iowa City.

Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family with arrangements. Ken was born on July 18, 1954 in Muscatine, a son of Kenneth M. and Marilyn “Mickey” (McManus) McGinnis. Mr. McGinnis worked for John Deere at the Parts Distribution Center, Milan.

He retired from John Deere after 30 years of service. Ken enjoyed boating and spending time with his family. Survivors include his father, Kenneth M. McGinnis, Rock Island; children, Amy (Brian) Croegaert, Geneseo, Matt McGinnis, Taylor Ridge; grandchildren, Charlotte, Kylie, Jonathon and Waylon; siblings, Tony (Carol) McGinnis, Rock Island, Scott (Terri) McGinnis, Rock Island, Patrick (Della) McGinnis, Milan and Michelle (Bud) Van Klavern, Coal Valley.
