Obituary for Mr. Kenneth Raymond Carter Mr. Kenneth Raymond Carter, age 74, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at his home under the care and comfort of his family. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 21, 2018, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Pastor Yram Lopez will officiate with burial to follow at Hazel Cemetery in Bell Buckle.

The family will receive visitors 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 20, 2018, at the funeral home. He was born July 1, 1944, in Bell Buckle, to the late Calvin Roosevelt and Sarah Etter Carter. He was a retired truck driver and a member of First United Pentecostal Church.

He is preceded in death by a son, Kenneth R. Carter, Jr., three brothers, James Gary Carter, William Roy Carter, Lyndell Roosevelt Carter, and David Riley Carter; and one sister, Thelma Louise Carter Fuston. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frances Sudberry Carter, of Shelbyville; one daughter, Kimberly Carter Ward, of Shelbyville; a sister, Sarah Evelyn Loehle; and two grandchildren, Kasey Makiah Ward and David Ean Ward II. The family wants to thank Willow Brook Hospice for their professionalism and excellent care for Mr. Carter.
