Obituary for Kennie Colson Mr. Kennie Ray Colson, age 66, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray. Mr. Colson was born on February 3, 1952, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Starkie Clyde Colson and Margaret Elaine (Carter) Bailey. Mr. Colson was a retired chemical operator for Vanderbilt Chemical, and was a member of the University Church of Christ.

Kennie enjoyed crappie fishing and participated in several crappie USA professional tournaments. Survivors include one daughter, Megan Colson of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Kerry Colson of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Ronald Colson and wife Peggy of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Brody Hutson Buckingham and Quinn Elise Colson both of Murray, Kentucky. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Charley Bazzell officiating.

Entombment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the memorial service on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
