Obituary for Raymond Sims Mr. Raymond Junior Sims, age 88, of Murray, Kentucky died at 11:49pm Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Sims was born July 4, 1929 in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Polly Craven Sims. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Coleman Sims; daughter, Jan Byrd; sons, James Cavitt and John Junior Sims.

He is survived by his sons, Raymond Sims, III, Murray, and Randal Hutchinson, Paris, Tennessee; daughters, Carol Martin, Orlando, Florida, Debbie Maxwell, Murray, Frankie Sims, Murray, and Susie Payne, Murray; and six grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 1:00pm Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with burial in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 4:00pm to 7:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
