Obituary for Kevin Esche Kevin L. Esche, age 61, of Evansville, IN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Karen (Wilm) Esche; son, Christopher (Erica) Esche of Evansville; daughter, Sarah (Jacob) Timmons of Evansville; grandchildren, Abigail and Audrey Esche; mother, Sandra (Doug) Martin; brother, Brian (Amy) Esche of Newburgh; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Edward Esche.
Kevin was born July 20, 1957, to Sandra (Dosch) Martin and the late Louis Edward Esche. He graduated from Castle High School in 1975. He was an active, longtime member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where he could always be found at the summer social, volunteering.
Kevin was a great man who loved helping others. He was mechanically gifted and an integral part of C.J.’s bus, often driving the bus to disaster areas. Most important to Kevin was spending time with his family, especially his two young granddaughters.
He also loved spending time with his fur babies. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until 8:00pm Monday, October 29, 2018 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave. , Evansville.
A Memorial Service will begin at 7:00pm at the funeral home. Visitation will resume at 9:30am until 10:00am Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S. Green River Rd. , Evansville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00am with Father Bernie Etienne officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S. Green River Rd.
