OBITUARY Leah Maebelle White March 21, 1923 – October 23, 2018 Leah “Maebelle” White, 95, went home to be with her Savior and family on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Heritage Center. She was born March 21, 1923 in Evansville to the late James Royal and Parkie (Godbey) Williams. She married Ewin White in 1959 and they traveled the country spreading the Gospel.

Later they pastored churches in Boonville, IN, Marshall, IL and other areas in the tri-state. Maebelle worked in the insurance industry for many years. She was an accomplished musician, loved to sew and paint, and continued to travel into her later years.

Maebelle was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ewin White and brother, James Williams. She is survived by cousin, Joanne Jeffries; sister-in-law, Anita Williams, and nieces and great-nieces. The family would like to give a special thank you to Pastor Steve Boardman; Shirley Strickland and Rachel Lin for their loving care and attention.

A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 29, 2018 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Monty Mahoney, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 10:00 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
