Kevin Peter Lordahl July 22, 1954 – December 27, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Kevin Peter Lordahl, 64, of McAlester, died Thursday, December 27, at Baptist Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Hennen officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.

Kevin Lordahl was born on July 22, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York to Thomas and Betty Lou (Eddy) Lordahl. He and his family came to Hartshorne when he was just a child. He grew up in Hartshorne and graduated from Hartshorne High School.

He worked at Oklahoma Aerotronics for several years before eventually going to work at National Oil Well, where he has worked for the past 30 years. Kevin loved the outdoors and loved to travel and particularly liked going to OU football games and Thunder basketball games. His real joy, though, came from being with his great grandson.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Brenda, of the home; a great grandson, Shiloh Lewis of the home and other great grandsons, Linkyn Fry and Oakley Reese; 2 daughters, Nikki Gaylor and family and Ashley Dixon and family; a son, Ryan Lordahl and family; grandchildren, Landyn Reese and Fashion Lalli; a step-daughter, Amy Reese; a sister, Kathy Dobbs and family; and a brother, Tommy Lordahl. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Betty Lordahl.
