OBITUARY Kurt David Raleigh January 7, 1970 – January 7, 2019 Kurt David Raleigh 49, of Evansville, IN passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. He was born on January 7, 1970. Kurt worked at Murphy Leather for many years, Berry Plastics and most recently ResCare.

Music was his life. He was a drummer in several local bands over the years including Amethyst, No Exit and Chelsea Monday. Kurt was very kind and compassionate, having many many friends.

He loved his dog Penny and cats Toby & Boscoe. Kurt was preceded in death by his father David G. Raleigh. He is survived by his wife, Melissa; stepchildren, Joe and Ashley May; mother, Vickie Raleigh; brother, Aaron Raleigh (Elizabeth); many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who all loved him dearly.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Gene Backes with burial to follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of units 5100, 2900 and 3900 at Deaconess Midtown and the Pallative Care Team.
