Obituary for Lallace Richard (Rick) Menard Rick Menard, 62, of Silsbee, formerly of Vidor, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was born on March 7, 1956 in Beaumont, to the late Ruby (Berwick) Zeek and James Joseph Menard. He was a heavy equipment operator for T. Johnson Industries, Inc. for 20 plus years and a prior owner of Bad Boyz Construction and Rick’s Roofing & Remodeling.

He was an avid outdoorsman; loved fishing, hunting and motorcycles. He is survived by his grandchildren: Seth Ardis of Vidor, Darian and Bladen Keaton of Bridge City; sisters: Patricia Menard Callier (Norris) of Hamshire, Cheryl Menard Haney (Ron) of Beaumont, Belinda Menard Roggenkamp (David) of Lumberton, Wanda Menard Haney and Angela Sherree Johnson Magliolo (Mark) of Vidor; stepchildren: Ashley Atkinson and Michael Smith of Silsbee. He is preceded in death by his daughter; Amanda Marie Menard of Vidor.
