Lanny R. Kistler, Jr., 44 years old, passed away unexpectedly at 12:27 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his home in Elkhart, IN. Lanny was born on April 2, 1974 in Elkhart and has been a lifelong resident. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Hope (Gregory) Widner of South Bend; father and step-mother, Lanny R. (Cindy) Kistler, Sr. of Goshen; and his sister and brother-in-law, Emily and Matt Spaulding of South Bend.

A service celebrating the life of Lanny will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Palmer Funeral Home, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Lanny R. Kistler, Jr. may be donated to Palmer Funeral Home, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN 46614.
