Mary LaRaine Morrow Jenkins, 87, passed away on June 27, 2018 in Sandy, Utah. She was born on March 19, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George Robert Morrow and Alta Mary Beckstead. LaRaine married Ivan Samuel Jenkins in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 25, 1949.

The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Ivan preceded her in death on June 6, 1979. LaRaine worked as a nutrition service worker for the Canyons School District at Sandy Elementary for 40 years.

She retired at age 84. Family was everything to her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, watching old movies, chocolate and cooking and baking for her children and grandchildren.

LaRaine led a simple life, always caring for others before herself. She loved her dogs and was concerned for the well-being of Scamp after her passing. Survived by her children, Robert (Darlene) Jenkins, Paul Jenkins, Dale (Judy) Jenkins, Mary (Rick) Ham and Brian Jenkins; 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brother, Leon (Martha) Morrow.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Bobby and daughter-in-law, JoAnn Jenkins. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Sandy City Cemetery, 9000 South 700 East.
