Patrick Pacheco, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend, passed away on June 20, 2018. Pat was born on March 17, 1948 in Murray, Utah. He spent his early years in Bingham Canyon and moved to Midvale in his teens.

He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany among other posts. He later worked at the Kennecott Copper Mine for over 35 years. He married his lifelong love JoAnne in 1970 and they were married for 47 years.

They had three daughters, Nicole, Lisa and Monica, whom they raised in Sandy. Pat worked hard and played hard, often the life of any party he attended. He was an avid golfer, bowler and traveler, especially his weekend trips to Wendover.

Pat was a devout Catholic and a long time parishioner at St. Therese Catholic Church. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him. Pat is survived by his devoted wife JoAnne, daughters Nicole Baker (Leon), Lisa Geyser (Jeff) and Monica Ulmer (Matt).

He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Isabella, Olivia and Tyrus Baker, Alex and Jackson Geyser and Lexi and Patrick Ulmer; two sisters Yolanda Valdez and Joyce (Andrew) Valdez, one brother Ralph (Kathy) Pacheco and many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. He is predeceased by his parents Eli and Bertha Pacheco and his brother Pete. A Rosary service will be held on Tuesday, June 26 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 624 Lennox St., Midvale UT 84047 at 7:00 pm.

Funeral service will held at St. Therese on Wednesday, June 27 at 11:00 am. Lunch will follow this service. We’ll see you on the back nine Julio!
