Obituary for Larry E. Mitchell Larry E. Mitchell, 70, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the Chambersburg Hospital, with his loving family by his side. He was born Friday, April 9, 1948 in Newburg, PA. Larry was a son of the late Lawrence F. and Esther E. Rolar Mitchell.

Larry retired in 2008 from the Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg. He was a member of the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168, the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223 and the Minnequa Social Club all in Shippensburg. Larry was a 1966 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, William Mitchell. Larry is survived by his wife, Dottie G. Byers Mitchell, three daughters, Regina L. Scott and her husband Sean of Newburg, Michelle Q. Geyer and her husband Stephen of Upper Strasburg and Lauretta E. Nace and her husband Brian of Chambersburg, eight grandchildren, Christopher, Laura, Zack, Zeek, Cody, Daniel, Emily and Brooke, eleven great-grandchildren, one brother, Ronald Mitchell and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 18, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg.

Officiating will be The Rev. Stan V. McCammon. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
