Mr. Lanclos was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Duson. He was a Roughneck in the oilfield.

Larry enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He was a very kind and generous person who would be the first to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Survivors include one son, Jared Badeaux and his wife, Stacey, of Odessa, FL; one daughter, Layla Lanclos of Lafayette; his girlfriend, Aloma Castille; one brother, Douglas Lanclos, Jr.; one sister, Julie Lanclos; and one grandson, Finn William Badeaux.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Lanclos, Sr. and the former Faye Marie Boudreaux; one brother, Lee Lanclos; and two sisters, Sue Credeur and Donna Lanclos Martinez. Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 North University Avenue, (337) 896-6366, is in charge of arrangements.
