Ronald “Ronnie” Thibodeaux, I September 25, 1960 – February 23, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook CARENCRO ~ Ronald “Ronnie” Thibodeaux, I, age 58, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at his residence in Carencro. Mr. Thibodeaux was a native and lifelong resident of Vatican. He was a parishioner of St. John Berchmans Catholic Church in Cankton.

He was employed with Alton LeBlanc & Sons for over ten years. Ronnie was an avid fisherman, animal lover, he enjoyed cooking, building and racing cars and motorcycles and model airplanes. He loved anything mechanical – if it had an engine, he would conquer it.

Survivors include one son, Ronnie Thibodeaux, II; his father, Albert Thibodeaux; two sisters, Kathryn Landgrave and her husband, Stephen, and Karla Landry and her husband, Stacey; one brother, Richard Thibodeaux and his wife, Camille; eight nieces and nephews, Richie Thibodeaux, Kay Thibodeaux and her wife, Nikki Mead-Thibodeaux; Cori Boudreaux, Dru Boudreaux, Karlie-Rae Landry, Kylie Landry, Ross Thibodeaux, Jr. and his wife, Shannon, and Gina Johnson and her husband, Kenny; six great nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Debbie Cuevas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Gayle Thibodeaux; and one brother, Ross Thibodeaux. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Andy Babineaux and his wife, Lana, Ronnie’s best friends, for being so wonderful and supportive.
