In Loving Memory Lawrence “Larry” Rogers January 25, 1950 – May 24, 2018 Larry Rogers was born January 25, 1950, in Walla Walla to Frank Everett Rogers and Mary Gertrude Gallagher. He passed away in his hometown of Walla Walla on May 24, 2018 at the age of 68. Arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt, 1551 The Dalles Military Road, Walla Walla WA.

Larry was a graduate of Walla Walla High School with the class of 1969. He retired in 2016 from Walla Walla Community… Read More » College where he was a Lead Maintenance Mechanic. In his spare time, Larry was a Reserve Police Officer with the Walla Walla Police Department from 1988 to 1994.

He loved his time with the Police Department and the friends he made there. He enjoyed muscle cars, racing hot rods and could frequently be found working in his garage. One of his greatest joys in life was the time he spent coaching the Jobs Truck “Golden Girls” Little League Softball team and never forgot the girls he coached.

Larry is survived by his long-time partner Anita Swan, two daughters, Carrie Rogers and Martie Thomas (Vince), three sisters; Mary Sutliff (John), Kathy Rogers, and Alice Gladden (Dwight); three grandchildren; Keltan Fulmer, Ashley Fulmer, Cole Thomas and niece Sarah Jantz (Dustin). He is preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Erik Walery. At Larry’s request there will be no service.
