OBITUARY Leah M. Rieves January 23, 1948 – November 26, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Leah Maurine Hambrick Teutsch Rieves born January 23, 1948, Died November 26, 2018 at home in Garland, TX. Leah, 70, was born in Lufkin Texas to Charles Bertran (Pee Wee) and Ella Louise Webb Hambrick. She was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Lufkin High School class of 1968.

She was a member of the National Honor Society and French Club. She was a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin Texas. She retired from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2013 after 20 years with a cadre of devoted loving friends who have been instrumental in her care.

She enjoyed reading, weaving, doing home improvement projects and sewing. She was especially talented in tailoring and sewing wedding dresses for friends. She is survived by her son, Alexander Noam and Wendy Teutsch of Murphy TX; daughter, Kristen Alyse Teutsch of New York City, NY; grandsons, Austin Alexander Teutsch and Nathaniel Cole Teutsch of Murphy TX; sister, Mary Ann and Larry G. Mills of Lufkin, TX; Brothers , John Charles and Charlotte Hambrick of Austin, TX; William Webb and Mary Hambrick of Gonzales, LA; James (Jim) Marvin and Sherry Hambrick of Pollok, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Amanda Renee Teutsch. Condolences may be offered at www. gipsonfuneralhome.com Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
