Leatha Mae Bentley, age 84, of Crestview, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2019, in Crestview. She was a native of Crestview, born February 6, 1934 to the late Johnny and Cora (Bridges) Atwell. Leatha was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, and a member of the Live Oak Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bentley, Sr., and sons, Clarence, Jr. and Willie. Leatha is survived by her son, Billy Bentley (wife, Marilyn); her daughter, Sherry Denmon (husband, James); a brother, Willy D. Atwell; eleven grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren. A Celebration of Leatha’s life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Live Oak Baptist Church, with Pastor Jerry Nelson officiating.
