Elston age 71 of Brown City died March 3, 2019. He was born in Marlette to Jerry and Marie Elston. Lee graduated from Brown City High School Class of 1965.

He enlisted in the United Stated Army and served in Vietnam. Lee married Florence Ford on April 4, 1970. Lee was a commercial builder contractor for 30 years and credited to have built many buildings around the Thumb Area.

He retired and became an organic crop farmer. He was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brown City. Lee is survived by his wife of 48 years Florence Elston, two sons Garrick Elston and Arend Elston, two sisters Jan Kriener and Kathleen Wells and a brother Paul Elston.

A visitation and viewing will be Wednesday March 6, 2019 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday March 7, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brown City with viewing from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund.
