Lehman M. Kretz, 19 of West Deer Township, died Friday July 20, 2018 unexpectedly at UPMC-Passavant Hospital. He was born December 11, 1998 to Caroline C. (Heininger) (Rich) Hollibaugh with whom he lived and Ronald W. (Kerry) Kretz of Center Township. Lehman grew up in Wexford attending the Pine-Richland schools then moved to West Deer and graduated from Deer Lakes High School in 2017.

He was attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Business where he just finished his freshman year. He was a member of St. Victor R. C. Parish, Bairdford. Lehman, for the past few years, has worked in food service, while in school at Zottola’s Restaurant, West Deer and also at Burgr’z on 8, Richland.

He enjoyed studying Asian Martial Arts under Sensei Nick Novaleski with concentrations in Tai-Chi, Kendo and Iaido. Lehman was recently inducted into the World Karate Hall of Fame for excellence in Tai-Chi. Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Carlie Anna Kretz at home, his brother Logan C. Kretz of Center Township, sisters Rebecca C. and Julia S. Hollibaugh and his brother Jack M. Hollibaugh, his maternal grandfather Robert R. Heininger of West Deer and his paternal grandparents Sylvan W. and Jean E. Kretz of North Hills.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Rosemary (Potersnak) Heininger, July 17, 2017. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where parting prayers will be conducted Wednesday at 9:30 am with a Catholic Funeral Mass will follow in St. Victor R.C. Parish, Bairdford with the Rev. Charles Speicher officiating.

He will be laid to rest in Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Pine-Richland Youth Center, 5554 Community Center Drive, Gibsonia, PA 15044. View obituary online and leave condolences at www.
