Obituary for Leo Downard Leo Franklin Downard, age 55, passed away Wednesday April 11, 2018 at St. Ann’s hospital. Leo is survived by his son Benjamin (Stephanie) Downard, Brother; Robert (Terry) Downard, Aunts; Sue (Jack) Chapman and Sonnia Green, Uncles; Norman (Barb) Salyer, and Jimmie Salyer, Nieces; Amanda (Ryan) Welker, Alexsis (Nick) Emmert, Nephew; Joshua Baker, Grandchildren; Lillian, Benjamin, Kathryn, Morgan and Abygale Great Nieces; Ellery and Kairi, Cousin; Tonya (Jim) Sanders and many other loving relatives. Leo is preceded in death by his grandparents; Norman and Verna Salyer, Mother; Janice Downard-Ward and Brother; Daniel Downard, Uncle; Larry Green and Cousin Linda Green.

Leo proudly worked for AVI installing and programming Starbucks and Keurig machines. He had several hobbies, but his true happiness in life was spending time with his family and spoiling his beloved Old English Sheepdog Ozzy the Prince of Barkness. The family will receive friends at the Schoedinger Linden Memorial Chapel 2741 Cleveland Avenue Columbus, Oh 43224 on Thursday April 19, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. and a funeral service to celebrate Leo’s life will be held the following day, Friday at 10:30 am at the funeral home.
