Leo’s Obituary Leo E. Lowdermilk, 65, of Mill Run, died Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Exdela Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. He was born February 24, 1953 a son of the late Robert and Amanda (Van Sickle) Lowdermilk.

Leo retired from the state of Maryland County Road Department, where he was employed for many years. He enjoyed working in the outdoors and attending flea markets. He was a member of Laurel Run Church of God, Friendsville, MD.

Leo is survived by his companion Janet Smith of Mill Run, her children; Helen Johnson and husband John of Bruceton Mills, W. VA. , Gene Smith and wife Glenda of Mill Run, and Steve Smith and wife Tabitha of Bruceton Mills, W.VA. , two brothers; Erwin Lowdermilk and wife Dot of Friendsville, MD.

, and Sam Lowdermilk and wife Gayle of Terra Alta, WV. , four sisters; Nancy Arsenberger and husband Bob of Mill Run, Leota Friend and husband Gary, Joann Myers and husband Larry, Betty Frantz and husband Darrell, all of Friendsville, MD. , many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME 123 S. 1st St. West Side, Connellsville (724) 628-9033 on Thursday from 3-8PM, and Friday from 10-11AM the hour of service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Interment will follow in Indian Creek Baptist Cemetery, Mill Run .
