Leon’s Obituary Leon Devine, 72, died Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born January 8, 1947 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late George A. and Laura Elizabeth Carey Devine. He was a retired business owner having owned and operated Harrodsburg Pool Hall for several years and also along with his brother had co-owned and operated Devine Roofing.

He enjoyed fishing, watching Westerns on television, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his companion Pam Sallee Devine of Harrodsburg; two daughters: Tracy Devine (Joe) Foley of Harrodsburg and Lorie Devine of Danville; one son Robert Devine of Harrodsburg; one brother Carlos Devine of Harrodsburg; one sister Betty Peavler of Harrodsburg; five grandchildren: Jadelyn Foley, Jevin Foley, Lauren Miller, Jaycee Devine, Parker Devine, and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by three sons: Travis Devine, Randall Leon Devine, and Andy Lee Devine; one daughter Betty Ann Devine; three brothers: R.C., William B. and Jimmy Devine and two sisters: Marie Tackett and Dorothy “Dot” Releford.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Chad Steele, Rue Sallee, Ronnie Peavler, George Devine, Ronnie Devine, and Bobby Campbell serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
