Leonard’s Obituary Leonard David Shelton, 83, of Lake Dallas, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 in Denton, Texas. He was born on April 28, 1935 in Lewisville, Texas to Leonard A. and Lena (Dudley) Shelton. Leonard married the love of his life Peggy Dunn in Lake Dallas on July 15, 1961.

Leonard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy, sister, Minnie Drake of Keller, brothers, Joe H. Shelton of Sanger and James H. Shelton of Forney. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Edith Baxter, Gladys Shelton, Francis Shelton, Mary Adams, brother, Fred A. Shelton and sister in law, Patsy Testerman. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Lake Cities United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas.
