Margaret’s Obituary Ella Margaret Mays, 94, of Aubrey, passed away January 22, 2019 in Denton, Texas. She was born October 22, 1924 to Euell Thomas and Ruth Goodwin (Stallings) Lovell in Justin, Texas. Ella attended and graduated from Krum schools.

She was a member of First Rock Fellowship in Aubrey. On June 15, 1941, she married Joe Amos Mays in Denton, Texas. They were married 66 years before his passing in 2007.

Prior to retirement she worked as a shipping supervisor for Russell Newman Manufacturing. She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Joe A. Mays and her sister, Joanne Looper. Ella is survived by her sister, Barbara Reese, her brother, Billy Kellum both of Denton, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Thursday, January 24, 2019 at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 6-8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be in the DeBerry Funeral Chapel Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Chris Walden officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Park also in Denton.
