Leonard F. Vincett, 74, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Leonard was born December 13, 1944 in New York to Harry and Marian (McDonald) Vincett Jr. Leonard was married five times and most spouses preceded him in death. Leonard retired in 2012 after 25 years of service with Interstate Auto Transport as a car carrier.

He served his county in the United State Army in Vietnam. Leonard is survived by two daughters, Christene (Greg) Lewis of La Porte, Indiana and April (James) Hooper of La Porte, Indiana; a son, Leonard Vincett of Michigan City, Indiana; four step-sons, Scott Hart, Jeremy (Tina) Hart, Raymond Ballard and Derick Dolgherty; eleven plus grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Judith (Bob) Perkins, Bonnie Gates, and Charlene (John) Halpin; a brother, Roderick Vincett; and special longtime friends, Frank Everspaugh, Scott and Marlo Britske. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Stephen Vann.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana, where military honors will take place at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Dunes Hospice, 4711 Evans Avenue, Valparaiso, Indiana 46383 or to the family.
