Leominster – Leonard J. Mallard, 82, of Leominster, died April 24, 2018, in HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster. He was born December 15, 1935, in Fitchburg, son of the late Frederick C. and Mary (LaDue) Mallard. He was a high school graduate and served in the US AirForce from Feb.

1954 through Oct. 1957. Lenny worked as a tool & die maker for Banner Mold and Lolli Mfg.

both in Leominster. He was a member of Leominster Knights of Columbus #406, the Foggia Club of Leominster and the Corfinio Club of Leominster and St. Anna’s Parish, Leominster. He is survived by one son; Leonard J. Mallard Jr., and his wife Nancy of Leominster, two grandchildren; Jeremy Mallard and Alyssa Mallard, along with two great grandchildren Anthony Kobus and Laylynna Stiller, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Joan P. (Somma) Mallard in 2005, brothers; Fred Mallard, Robert Mallard, Thomas Mallard, Leo Mallard, Francis Mallard and Richard Mallard, and his sisters; Gloria Mallard, Betty Mallard, Barbara Mallard and Lillian Mallard. Lenny’s Funeral will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. in St. Anna’s Church, 194 Lancaster St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery.
