Leslie George Davis (Turtle), 68, of Asheville passed away on November 18, 2018. He served in the Marine Corps, was a contractor, builder, and friend to many. Turtle enjoyed traveling, outdoor activities and loved the beach.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Charlotte Davis, and survived by his son, Chad Davis; daughter, Leslie Davis; grandchildren, Nicholas and Lillian Davis; sister, Evelyn (Steve) Anders; and nephews, Robert and Brian Anders. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, November 26th at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery – 962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
